ABOUT JOAN

Joan Cooper is an ordained minister, lover of God, author, transformational speaker and teacher, life and leadership coach, spiritual director and conference host. She is the founder and leader of God Is Real Love Sisters (G-GIRLS, Inc.) and Joan Cooper Ministries (JCM).  

Joan’s incredible story of transforming her own life from the segregated Jim Crow South, discrimination, segregation and homelessness to serving on a council for a United States President, Yale University, Fortune 500 Corporations, mainstream churches and federal and state prisons is the motivation for her mission to empower women to do the same.  Her bold message of resiliency will inspire you and her love of God will move you.

Joan’s vision is for every woman to have a companion, someone to journey with her as she master’s life. Joan’s motto, “No woman needs to do life alone.” She has mentored women holding senior positions in healthcare, technology and insurance companies, law firms, church leadership, law enforcement and professional entertainers.
